October Mindfulness Challenge

Greetings and Happy Autumn! 

This week I'd like to share with you a mindfulness challenge. It is a challenge to use mindfulness to observe the changes happening all around as fall is upon us (even though the weather can't figure out if it's hot or cold....lol).

Transcript of the Challenge:
"Go for a walk dedicated to mindfully observing the changes that are around us right now. As you go for your walk, walk slowly and gently. Take in the colors all around you: the bright oranges and reds.  Listen, very carefully, as the wind rustles the leaves. Observe how the breeze gently blows other leaves off the trees. Watch that leaf as it falls very slowly from the tree, swaying this way and that, until it finally lands upon the ground. Step into a pile of leaves and hear the "crunch" beneath your feet. Feel the sense of joy as you are transported to feeling like a child as you hear the "crunch" of stepping into the pile of leaves. Allow that sense of joy to soak into your being. Allow the peace and calmness to enter into your body. And know, that even just for this moment, everything is just as it should be. Enjoy your walk ladies!"
